1: Term used by Angels and Airwaves drummer, Atom Willard. It means that you need to stop hating. Because when you are hating all over something, you are all wet on that.

1: Shut up!

  * e.g.,  ... Damn, bro! The game is over! You need to dry up! It is what it is. 

 [ "Dry Up" ]

1: shut up, get lost

  * e.g.,  ... Hagrid in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets "dry up, Dursley" 

 [ "Dry up" ]

1: To suck it up. Mostly said to boring people (party bloopers) in meaning that they have to get a more positive attitude, get drunk and have fun.

  * e.g.,  ... "Hey wet blanket, dry up!" 

 [ "Dry Up" ]

1: When you drink so much you need food. The opposite of wash down. Like when you wash down food with something to drink. You need to dry up too much to drink with some food.

  * e.g.,  ... I've had too much to drink lets get food. I need to dry up these drinks.

1: A serious term that conveys the message to stop drinking. It can also be good for communicating future drinking plans to friends, family, co-workers, the police or fellow AA members.

1: stop the noise coming out of your mouth.

1: When ppl cry in an online game such as World of Warcraft or any multiplayer game. When something happens to them and they wont stop crying you tell em to Dry em up homie.
